Hey, como estas?

I'm not exactly sure what "como estas" means; I just put down the first thing that came to mind.

Anyways, have you ever heard of the Legend of Zelda? It fucking rocks, just so ya know. Last year, for xmas I got the legend of Zelda: twilight princess; this year I got skyward sword! I've only been playing it since christmas day, ( so, 4 days) but I've already amassed 18 (maybe 19 by now) hours of in game play, and I've made it to Lanayru; the third and final (i think...) part of the surface I have to go to.. I'm hoping to finish it by the time I go back to school, the first monday of january, so then I have bragging rights! x3
"So, what did you do over the holiday?" "Oh I played the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword!" "... That's it?" "Yep. And I finished it too! Oh, and I was stuck at the library for nearly two hours... /grin"

Before I get caught up with my list of awesomeness, what did you get this year, for christmas or hanukah, or whichever other holiday you celebrate? Now, here's what I got, in order of opening (openage...?) :

In my christmas stocking:
          The Fire by James Patterson, a dragons calendar, candy, some kind of giant pill shaped light (^.^), green head phones (really good!), colourful hair clips/extensions, 2 gift cards for the movies, a 25 dollar gift card to the bookstore in the mall, and some other stuff, but I can't remember what they are and they're down in my room, and I ain't gonna go down and check. :P

The big gifts under the tree were, in order;
          a gift from my sister: drawing pencils and coloured pencils, a watercolour paint set, a tracing paper pad, and a watercolour paper pad
          a Kobo eReader  (/squeeeee!!!!)
          Clockwork Prince (the sequel to clockwork angel) by Cassandra Clare XD (Sooooo ashumm!!)
          a $20 gift card for the same bookstore as previously mentioned
          A piece of paper, with the words "call ********** (not saying the number, for privacy reasons :P ) to see about your gift, love mom and dad." I was handed a phone and I called the number, and an unfamiliar ringtone rang out. I was passed a silver bag from my dad that contained.... /drumroll....

A cell phone!!! For me!! An htc firefly!! XD I also got 2 cases, and an sd card and adapter! :D I've been playing with it all day, save for the hour or so I was playing the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword!!!!! It. Is. The. BESSSTTTT!!! :D I've also been drawing a little :3

Hey, s-sup?

Maybe you've wondered this before, but why 's-sup'? Well, it's a reference to fang (aka the best character), after he dies, max freaks out and shoots adrenaline straight into his heart, he comes back to life, and the first thing he says is "S-sup?"! Danii and I found this quite funny. Anyways, on with the show!

I remembered maybe half an hour passé, that my friend Ben had mentioned something at school today about textplus, so I decided to search him on it! Well, I found him, so I sent him a message, something involving measures against stalkers..? I don't really remember. I sent it to him in the hopes that he'll check my profile, in which the closing sentence of my 'about me' is "see if you can find my blog... :3", so he'll search it, maybe find it, see this post, and it would be a big loop because of the not-so-subtle references to textplus. Confused now, Ben?! xD

Soo, tomorrow is Xmas eve day, and I'll be forced to go to church... I'm not even religious! Why, you may ask? Because I actually stopped to think about it, instead of blindly following, like the reindeer at the back of the line pulling santa's sleigh. Speaking of Santa, Ben and co. Have been pondering jolly ol' saint nick's namesake. Their argument is that mr. Claus's namesake is Satan, or he is satan. Their reasoning is that santa is an anagram for satan, and that his name is reminiscent to "satan's claws." he also wears red, and "he knows when you are sleeping, he knows you're awake. He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake!" Anyways, I won't get involved in this one-sided debate.

I should probably go; it's late and I still want to read my book; I'm almost done!!! (yay and nooo... At the same time /funnyface)

Anyways, I was watching episode 352, and it is just __________________!!! (I have no words to describe it!! Plus, no spoilers this time ;)

In the Fullbring arc, Inoue Orihime seems much more strong-willed, and more mature, though that's not your first impression. Chad talks more. That's all I have to say. You don't really see much of Uryu, but you know he's alive. And Ichigo? Well, let me tell you... He is effing sexy. I must say, as it is the wonderful truth! >\\\\< But not only is he smokin', you now see the results of all his fighting and battles; his strategy and deductive skills are prominent, and the pace he progresses is absolutely awesomazing, though not suprising. :) (Not to mention a hot body ;)

You should watch Bleach, but start at the beginning! Really, just watch any anime and you shall be loved by me for evermore! Oh, and don't forget to read manga ;) Fairy Tail is one of my favourites.

The epicness of the good part of my day!

Here's the good parts of my day:

This morning I woke up in time to have a shower! ^^ I got to school, and I practiced a little play that you pretty much just read, and in french, for 2 periods, then I had gym, where we played volleyball, and my little team is Me, Lauren, Bryce and Thomas, and Sarah, but she wasn't at school today. Then we had art, then my class got all the stuff we needed from our lockers and got on a bus and went to port elgin to go to the Swing Spring & Flip club, which is the flipping greatest thing ever!!! <3 (lol, pun ^^) It's a gymnastics club, with 5 general stations that we were allowed to use; Floor (somersaults, rope climbing, cartwheels); the beams (that you walk on); vaulting stuff (springboards, doing a somersault on a vaulty-thingy >.<, mini trampoline, doing the crab and/or bear walk on 2 horizontal poles, e altro ancora); trampolineeeeessssss!!! XD (olympic trampolines= best. thing. EVAH!!!); the beams (that you hang off, like the parallel bars and stuff). There was also a climbing wall, but we couldn't go on because of the school or something... :P oh well. :)

My favourite parts were the trampolines, despite the fact that I can't do swivel hips (google it) on it; I always land on my face. >.< And the floor stuff! ^,^ it's a lot of fun :D

I have to go now, dinner is nearly ready.

Screw life, not Sushi! (no, really. Screw life!!)

So, tonight I went to the anime meeting at my local library! We made veggie sushi and watched Blue Exorcist! (*Squeeeeee!!* XD )
But, I told my ride* to come pick me up at 8, because I didn't know what time it would be over. Here is the whole story of what ensued:
My sister asked what time it was, and, lo and behold, it was 8. So, I told my sister (Katie, who is 1.5 years younger than me and 3+ inches taller than me (and I ain't short...)) to go tell our ride that I would be only 15 minutes at most, as I was making sushi at the moment. Katie comes back down saying that he won't wait, so we have to go now. I tell her to go tell him that he just has to wait a little longer. She starts up the stairs then stops, as he is walking down the stairs (We were in the auditorium, below ground level) He tells me, in a quite loud voice that will now grate on my nerves forever, you have to go now, or I'm leaving you behind. So I go ahead and say, "Fine. I'll walk home." he's really pissed off now. But he wouldn't leave. He just stood there, telling me to go now, or he'll leave me. I'm telling him, exasperated, "Then leave. I'll walk home." I got Katie to get my stuff together for me, and I finally finished the sushi, got my stuff and left. I still got a ride. But he's such a fucjing idjit that he couldn't figure out why we weren' getting in the car. Try unlocking it next time, dumbarse!!

We made it home (in silence). I cut my sushi (I didn't have time at the library) I took it down to my room to eat it (my room's in the basement) then I went back upstairs to get all the stuff for my lunch so I don't have to do it in the morning. While preparing my food, I had to tell the whole story twice, once to my mom and dad, whom I had not seen all of yesterday, and the my grandma, because my grandpa (*our ride) was sulking for whatever reason and wouldn't talk about it.

Anyways, I have an x-mas party with my choir tomorrow after school (thanks to the dragon riders I don't have to go home, or I would probably just escape out my window) I'm going to ask to walk home, because I don't want to be near my grandpa, and he's the one who usually drives me because my parents work. At said party, we carpool down to the bowling alley, bowl for a while, go back to where we practice (a church... >~<) and have pizza! And a gift exchange.

Well, I'll tell you then, ya stick in the mud (I'm kidding; you're awesome!) Rose got... My name! XD So we were saying that we'll just go shopping together, pick out a bunch of stuff and trade! XD

In other news, the Apocalypse has now been moved to next Tuesday, because a group of rowdy biker raccoons stole 2012 for their own nefarious "gnomageddon"! Take THAT, you 'coons!

Hehehe, just kidding! December fool's day! The REAL other news is... Damnit, I forgot. Ummm... Urgh..

I'm so pissed off, frustrated, sad and feeling general emotions of life-suckiness.
Let me start with the least sucky (No, I don't care if you don't want to listen to me complain) I have to clean my room totally; i have some fines on my library card; I have a speech to finish my french speech (after having 3 huge tests in 1 week; I want to get out of the house for a while, for reasons I won't delve into (pm me if you reeeeaally want to know); I really used to look up to the choir I'm in, but now most all the newbies suck arse; and most of all, two of my best friends are moving away next year for high school and that is the most goddamn fucking shittiest thing ever.

Now I'm even more pissed off.

Meaford Tank Range

Ya know how I didn't go to the cross country run for my school? Well now the top 10 runners for each group (grade 7&8, boys and girls)(40 people total) and also the people who are on the cross country team, and ran every meeting. So, more than 40 people. I, of course, am not going! And I kinda want to, but not to run, just to watch the race. But I can't, plus, I have art today, and art team! :D
I'm just getting on the bus now. I have no Internet, so I'll post this when I get to school.
Last Tuesday for art team, Thomas (yeah, that guy... (He's actually not always bad...)) was supposed to bring in snacks (ya get kinda hungry, not eating since 1:15) and, big surprise, he didn't. So ms. Helleyer gave us some dark chocolate kit kat bars. :D (there was soccer practice that afternoon, so a bunch of people weren't there, including Thomas)

This morning, when walking out my front door to get to school, there was a dead bird outside. It must have hit our big glass windows and was killed.

Just about a minute ago, our power went out. Damn it. So I have the urge to tell you guys.
Anyways, today I had Art Team! It's a school club, and we meet every Tuesday and Thursday. We are in charge of decorating Hillcrest's (my school's) float in my town's Christmas parade. All we made today are those garland thingys made out of paper loops... =_=' And we're still not done... So now I'm not riding the bus every tues, wed, and thurs afternoon.
Because the power went out, we have this thing that does something during a blackout. I think it's a back-up generator... But it beeps. And beeps and beeps until the power comes back on.
OMFG, this just occured to me; I'm going to have to reset my clock!!! Noooooo!! It's so cumbersome. (annoying)

Baw-ring!

I'm sick today, I didn't have to go to school. We had cross country run today, but that was all that we were doing, and I couldn't run cuz my cold got worse, I have a effed up leg and a badly bruised ankle. (see previous post: tree top trekking) No way I could run, and no point in going to school since that's all we were doing. I wonder how many other people stayed home? And many for a legit reason?

Bus line...

Every day I ride the bus. And every day it's late. Right now I'm standing in my bus line, bored.
Some guy (I just learned his name is Devin/on) is pretty amusing though, it's entertaining. :3 Our bus is so late, Kyle and Devin/on are swearing up and down to walk,
But the bus just showed up. We get dismissed at 3:15. It's 3:37 right now.

Tree top trekking!

1:30- While I am typing this, I am on the bus back from tree top trekking in barrie (? I think...). It was fun, looking back, but for the first three courses I did, I was in front of Thomas Brown, pretty much the coolest guy in school (not my belief), and he's already done all the courses before, from beginner green to expert black, and everything in between. He likes to shake the courses. While I'm on them. I nearly fell of a couple times and yelled out "Fuck, Thomas!" He laughed. I ended up letting him go in front of me.
I made it to the red course, which was an intermediate course. On the zipline on that course, I kept spinning around, and I ended it backwards. It wouldn't have been so bad cuz I got Sarah Pretty to help me (she's one of the few people in my class taller than me), except since I ended backwards, I hit the back of my legs on the platform, right in the muscle, so I could barely stand for a few minutes. I was standing in a platform in the trees. My legs wouldn't stop twitching, and I had to walk a tightrope next. I did make it down though, no crying or yelling, and I didn't throw up, either. (I'm not afraid of heights)
After, anyone that wanted to got to go down the Big Zip, and it is, just as it sounds, a big zipline. It's a lot of fun! ^o^ I kept spinning around again, but this time I figured out how to control it and turn when I wanted to. At the end, the guy said "chin up" so I stuck my chin up. He laughed and said to grab on to the zipline and pull myself up. :P

The teacher just told us that we'll be back at school in approx. 30 min, so im gonna post this at school (aka: as soon as I get wi-fi, cuz I'm on my iPod.

Sorry I haven't been posting, I keep forgetting, or I can't think of anything to say. Or I'm away/can't access a computer with internet. :P

So I went to my friend Daniee's birthday party on saturday, and we went and watched Beastly. It's an okay movie... :P then we all (there was four of us in all) came back for a sleep over. We watched the movie RED. (Daniee, if you're reading this, I forgot the dvd at your house, and the paramore cd case thing I brought it in!) then, around 9-9:30 ish, we set up a fort, and prepared to attack danielle's little brother! xD I had the nerf gun, 'cause I have the best aim! :D eventually we went to sleep, but not before we played truth or dare. :)

Today I might go skiing. :P

This morning, I woke up with a sore throat. :P for breakfast I had a granola bar, an extra strength tylenol, and about 5 glasses of water. I was soooo hungry after. :(

here was my school day:
Per. 1 (8:55-9:15) Math. I hate grade 7 algebra, it's so boring!! Grade 8 is much better.
Per. 2 (9:15-9:55) Math We had gym, 'cause the class that was gonna be in there was away. We were wrestling, and I did sock wrestling* with Daniee. :D
Per. 3 (9:55-10:35) Art!! I'm making an ocarina, and it's pretty good. :)
Per. 4 (10:35-11:15) Health. Not that bad 'cause we were just making posters.
Lunch (11:15-11:35) I was reeeeaally hungry.. D: But then I ate. ;)
Recess (11:35-11:55)
Per. 5 (11:55-12:35) French. We had the computers. :) But Mrs Carrick, the art teacher, came in and asked for people who are good in art to help with the big boards for the dance competition, and I was one of them! :)
Per.6 (12:35-1:15) English. (Teacher was away on a class trip) French. Still working with mrs Carrick, Storm, and Sarah.
Lunch 2 (1:15-1:35) Wasn't as hungry. I ate a cookie. :D
Recess 2 (1:35-1:55) Still working with mrs Carrick, Storm, and Sarah.
Per. 7 (1:55-2:35) French. Still working with mrs Carrick, Storm, and Sarah.
Per. 8 (2:35-3:15) French. Still working with mrs Carrick, Storm, and Sarah.
3:15 End of the day!! I was going to go to choir, but I have a sore throat, so I didn't.  And I had some soup. Yum! :)
So I [barely] did anything today! :)

*Sock wrestling is where you try to take both the other person's socks off,  but their also trying to take yours. :)

     Sorry I haven't been posting since.... um, whenever the last post was. If you wanna know so much, check yourself. :P and sorry in advance if I forget or don't have time to post a lot...
     So Thursday I went skiing, friday was a normal day. I got another friend on AQW (Adventure Quest Worlds) I'm not gonna give his username out, but mine is sxychic42398. I couldn't think of anything else, okay? (Brainfart, lol)
     Today, this morning, I did chores. And the rest of my family. Aaaaallll 8 of us. We have a chore day every saturday. :P I finished, had a shower and started yet another book. I usually read a book a day, just 'cause books are awesome!! :D

Early Dismissal! (Woot!)

Yo!
     Today we had early dismissal!! :D  You might have it, and it might be the same as ours, but we have periods 1-5, lunch and recess at 11:05-11:45, then periods 6-8, then it's the end of the day at 1:15! (2 hours earlier) (each period is shortened from 40 min to 30min.)
     In art today, I was working on my Zelda-style ocarina. (see previous post) I hollowed out the other half (I made the shape, cut it in half, then hollowed out the 2 halves), attached the 2 together with cross-hatching, so they won't fall apart, and I had just enough time to cross-hatch the mouth piece or mouth tube or whatever you want to call it (the thing you blow into. On tuesday, the next time I have art, I'm going to put the hole into the mouth hole/piece/tube/whatever.
     I got picked up from school (1:15) by my mom, who gave me my bag full of books I had to return to the library, and drove me. (To the library) After I got a whole bunch of books, I walked down the street with my bud Rose (no pun intended  ;) to choir, which was from 2-4:00. We sang for 2 hours. :P And my grampa came to pick me up from choir at 4, and now I'm here. At least when I was typing this. Now you're reading this, and thinking I'm weird. I'm a mind reader! :D

Zelda-style!!

Nothing very notable today, normal schedule, but we did have art, and I'm making an ocarina, Zelda-style! In gym, we played medicine-ball wrestling! It was fun, but I'm not good at it, especially since you're not allowed to punch, kick, spit, bite, or stand up. :P  I have early dismissal tomorrow, and I have choir.
 I had an apple after school... I'm also really bored.
Just so you know, Zelda is AWESOME!! (And Link, too)

The Inheritance Cycle

Temp: What the hell, I give up! anyways, It's getting.warmer. slowly. veeery slowly

     Today we had a seat change in homeroom. I now sit beside Nick Ritchie in science, math and health (homeroom) and I had to switch seats in french last week 'cause I was doodling on Rose's hand, and I had to move seats, and I ended up sitting beside Nick. :P at least Sarah's close by, and Danielle too, I think. In french we're starting a new 'module' (It's what the teacher calls it.) in history. (We have history, geography and, obviously, french in french) I was stuck in a group of four, made up of Tyler, Wil, Angelica and me. We had to make up a conflict, then follow some steps to resolve it. Nobody could concentrate. eventually Wil took my book to look at it, and I told him some of it glows in the dark (It's a horror book, Bec, by Darren Shan) and he tried to see it glow by curling up into a ball around it, while sitting on a chair. It didn't work, so then he said "Rachel, you're not going to like what I'm going to do to your book." and stuck it up his shirt! Then he looked at it through the neck hole of his shirt, and I heard a muffled "Cool!" I laughed, and Tyler leaned over and asked what he's doing. He gave the book to Tyler and said some of it glows. Then Tyler stuck it up his shirt and looked at it too. Another muffled "Cool!" I rolled my eyes.
     Today in math, Nick (The guy I have to sit beside. See beginning of the paragraph above^) apparently got bored and ripped a button off his calculator. A button he didn't need. It said LOG on it, and it was bouncy! :3 first he would bounce it on the desk, then on the floor, and at the end of class, he threw it at the chalkboard! xD it bounced all over the place. I was laughing a lot, because I was thinking about what would happen if he stood at the back of the classroom, chucked it at the board, and then you heard "Ow, my eye!" or "Ow, someone threw a log at me!" xD *doubles over laughing*

Yay!! :3 books!

I went to the library today, and I got a whole bunch of Darren Shan books!! xD Aaaaiiieee!!!
Okay, so I wouldn't actually squeal like that, heck, I didn't even smile. But I am happy! I've already read the Demonata books 1, 2 and 3. Now I have books 4-7, and nine and ten. But eight wasn't there. Oh well, I have to go back soon anyways. I'm re-reading the back of book 4, Bec, again, and there's some thing at the bottom that says  Praise for Lord Loss "Utterly unputdownable." The Times. Lord Loss is the first book. But I like the word 'unputdownable'. It's a has a prefix, two words in the middle, and a suffix. It's like a word sandwich! :3

Temp: -2˚C  (yay, I remembered!)

So yesterday, I went to see the movie Gnomeo and Juliet. I think it's really funny, and I liked it, even though I wanted to see I Am Number Four. There always seems to be a kid behind me that constantly kicks my seat, so I turned around and said "Quit kickin' the seat, kid." And I can be really menacing and threatening when I want to, and the kid stopped. I think I might've given her nightmares... heh. Oops.

I have my room in the basement of my house, so last night, when I forgot my book in my mom and dad's room last night, I grabbed a different book to read for the night, and I grabbed a book called Slawter. Don't get me wrong, 'cause I love horror books, with demons, lots of blood and guts... But that was probably the best book I've read so far! (Although Demon Theif was and still is awesome) At one point in the book, there's a big energy field around an old abandoned town called Slawter, which is the set and studio for a huge horror movie about demons, because the director/producer/script-writer (or whatever you call those people..) struck a deal with a Demon Master from the universe of the Demonata, Lord Loss, and real demons come through a tunnel between worlds, the director/producer/script-writer, Davida Haym, and her camera crew think they will be spared from the demons, but they aren't, and out of the hundreds of people in the town, only about 35 people get out through the hole Gubbs Grady (I guess you could call him the hero) made in the energy field, then put another shield over the hole so only humans and not demons could get through. Grubbs, his uncle Dervish, his half-brother Bill-E, their friend Juni, and about 35 other people live. But there are no happy endings. 


Anyway, I love the book!
